Crime: Armed Robbery
The Georgia Tech Police Department is looking for five men in connection with a recent armed robbery.
On December 5, 2012, three suspects were captured on surveillance video at the BP gas station near North Avenue and Spring Street during the time a student was robbed on the Georgia Tech campus. The suspects were seen in a red newer model Ford Mustang with chrome wheels and a light colored older model Toyota Camry.
Later that evening, the suspects were captured on surveillance video at a Shell gas station located at the corner of Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard and Martin Luther King Jr Drive attempting to use the victim's stolen credit card.
The first suspect is described as a black male in his late teens to early twenties wearing a white long sleeve shirt under a black short sleeve shirt, dark jeans, and dark shoes.
The second suspect is described as a black male in his late teens to early twenties wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, and brown shoes.
The driver of the mustang is described as a black male in his twenties wearing a gray jacket, red shirt, and jeans.
Inside the Shell station, the first two suspects were seen speaking with two males who may know the identity of the robbers.
