What is Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta?
Launched in January 2007, Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta (CSGA) rallies and empowers citizens to take a stand against crime in their communities by providing an avenue for them to anonymously report information about criminal activity, or criminals’ whereabouts, and incentivizes them with cash rewards if the information leads to an arrest and indictment. The information provided through CSGA helps law enforcement in their investigations and can play a major role in the apprehension of criminals and in securing convictions. Since inception, Crime Stoppers has helped investigators solve more than 1,200 cases and has paid out more than $700 thousand in rewards for anonymous tips that have helped put more than 930 dangerous criminals behind bars and out of our communities.
